Alexandra Bruno
Voice
Alexandra Bruno is a native of Dublin, OH. She currently serves on the faculty at University of Rio Grande as an Adjunct Professor of Voice. Alexandra holds two Master’s Degrees from Ohio University in Vocal Performance and Vocal Performance: Pedagogy. She teaches students of all ages and is especially interested in singing and teaching a variety of styles including classical, jazz, pop, and musical theater. Before graduating in 2017, Alexandra was a Teaching Assistant for Ohio University where she taught voice majors and non-majors private voice lessons as well as Class Voice for music majors and Class Voice II for music therapy majors. Prior to attending Ohio University, Alexandra attended West Liberty University where she received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. In addition to teaching, she is an active performer and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) where she attends conferences and keeps up with the latest in vocal pedagogy and voice science. Alexandra’s approach to developing a voice through private voice instruction is different with each student because of each student's uniqueness to their voice, which she embraces throughout their vocal study.
