Doug Hare
Piano, Keyboard
Earning his Bachelors of Music from Capital Conservatory of Music in 2001, pianist and songwriter -- Doug Hare -- continues to develop his craft. Hare began his musical journey as a self-taught rock pianist before being introduced to classical and jazz piano which allows him to share his unique and valuable perspective while providing insights on overcoming obstacles.
The education process, however, is what Hare enjoys most. Sharing what it means to be a musician; teaching students how to make music -- these are the foundations that empower people. Whether through piano, guitar, or voice, Hare regularly includes theory with technical lessons.
Noteworthy Instructor since March, 2015
Hare teaches privately as well as periodic group lessons through Noteworthy Music. His past experience includes: group lessons at Vineyard Community Center, Worthington Music and Capital University.
Hare has studied with piano and composition with renowned musicians in Central Ohio honing his skills with Dr. Laura Beauchamp, Mark Flugge, Rocky Reuter, James Swearingen, Stan Smith, and Mark Lochstampfor.
