Beginning Pop Piano

*Ages 8-12*

 

Hosted by Upper Arlington Parks & Rec.

 

Come make some new friends and learn pop piano in a group setting! No experience? No problem! You’ll begin to learn how to read music, play scales, chords, and basic repertoire that will teach you the foundations of music. You’ll learn several popular songs from artists such as Katy Perry, John Legend, and Taylor Swift!  At the end of the week, we will have a recital showcasing what we have learned.

 

First Session: April 6 - May 4, 7:00pm - 8:00pm

Second Session: May 11 - June 8, 7:00pm - 8:00 pm

(Monday evenings, 5 classes per session)

 

This class is available to be retaken as many times as you like as the music will not be the same as the previous classes.

Piano for Beginners

*This class is only open to Wellington students, grades 3-5*
